Increase photo resolution
Resolution is pixel count. A 600×400 photo has no data to become a poster, but careful resampling plus detail enhancement gets it comfortably to screen use and small prints.
How to use
- 1Upload the image that needs more resolution.
- 2Choose the scale factor and the detail level.
- 3Download the enlarged, higher-resolution image.
What it's for
Small photos
Rescues images saved at low resolution from social apps and email.
Stepped resampling
Enlarging in stages reduces the mushy, blurred look.
Detail control
You decide how much enhancement to apply after enlarging.
Frequently asked questions
How far can I enlarge?
Up to 4×. Beyond that the gain is marginal and results start looking artificial.
Does it really add detail?
Missing detail is not invented; what improves is apparent edge definition.
Is it enough for large prints?
For banners and posters, always prefer the original high-resolution file.
